Kate Papachristou

is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, receiving both her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Kate has been working at Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County since February 2014 as a clinician and is the Clinical and Community Services Manage. Kate has experience working with individuals across all age groups and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, and interpersonal therapy for treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Kate believes that choosing psychotherapy for support and assistance in facing the challenges of life is an important step for many individuals and it is important to have a clinician who can collaborate and engage with clients to incorporate their strengths and unique life experiences in creating goals that best meet their needs, wants, hopes, and desires.
